We live in N Calif where we get frost during the winter. What is the best way to protect our dwarf citrus trees from frost?
We grow greens in a heated greenhouse, but in New Mexico we have had almost record breaking lows well below 0 degrees. Then we lost our gas. So, what we could not harvest has frozen. Can plants such as kale, chard, mustard and collards still be viable plants after freezing? We were thinking we should harvest and freeze what we can, but it is a large space so we don’t have enough freezer space. Since we have never lost gas service before, this is a new experience! Thanks for any info you have.
